It’s hard being an adult sometimes. Once you’ve graduated college, you’re already over 18, you are expected to live on your own and to be completely fine. You’re expected to know what to do and when to do it. You’re expected to figure out how to keep your house clean, get your bills paid on time despite the overwhelming bucket of debt that’s been poured over your head, and at the same time go to work and complete work tasks each and every day simply because that’s what adulting is. But it’s definitely not always easy. Good thing there are books out there to tell us what to do and how to do it.
Kelly Williams Brown wrote this book titled Adulting. She states that “‘Adult’ isn’t a noun; it’s a verb. Just because you don’t feel like an adult doesn’t mean you can’t act like one” (Brown). In this book, she takes the reader through 468 easy (ish) steps to becoming an adult.
